Pink Basket Laundry Co. — Service Agreement
1. Condition of Laundry
Customer agrees all laundry provided:
- Contains no pet hair and comes from a pet-free household.
- Comes from a smoke-free household.
- Is not extremely soiled, including bodily fluids, pet mess, heavy dirt, mildew, or strong odors.
- Contains no oil- or chemical-contaminated clothing, including mechanic, construction, fryer oil, or chemical workwear.
- Does not include dry-clean-only fabrics.
- Service Provider reserves the right to refuse any load that does not meet these conditions.
2. Included Services
- Wash, dry, and fold.
- Scented or fragrance-free detergent.
- Stain treatment upon request, not guaranteed.
- Extra scent booster available for +$0.10/lb.
- Hang-dry items if pre-separated and hangers are provided.
3. Weight & Pricing
- Minimum order of $20.00.
- Laundry is $1.50 per pound.
- Laundry is weighed before washing.
- Bulky items accepted if not extremely soiled.
4. Pickup & Delivery Terms
- Customer drop-off/pick-up: No delivery fee.
- Delivery fee: $5.00 within 5 miles.
- Beyond 5 miles: $1.00 per additional mile round-trip.
5. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround is 24-48 hours unless otherwise communicated. Turnaround time may vary based on volume, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Packaging Requirements
Customer must provide laundry in a basket, hamper, or reusable bag. No trash bags accepted.
7. Payment Requirement
Payment must be made before pick-up, or at drop-off if using delivery service, via:

8. Liability & Limitations
Customer acknowledges:
- Stain removal is not guaranteed.
- Service Provider is not responsible for pre-existing wear/damage.
- Service Provider is not responsible for items left in pockets.
- Customer is responsible for checking all pockets prior to service.
- Service Provider's liability is limited to the cost of the laundry service for the affected items.
- Normal washing risks apply, including shrinkage, color bleeding, etc.
- Items will be washed and folded at Service Provider's discretion unless otherwise requested.
9. Lost/Unclaimed Items Policy
Items not picked up within 14 days may be considered abandoned.
10. Communication
Service Provider will notify customer when the order is received, when washing begins, and when the order is ready for pickup/delivery.
11. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By submitting laundry, the Customer agrees to all terms in this document.
